Women’s Golf Unveils 2024-25 ScheduleJACKSONVILLE-The Jax State women’s golf season starts on Monday with a trip to South Carolina.

Director of Golf Robbie Fields released the 2024-25 slate consisting of seven fall tournaments and five spring tournaments, including the Conference USA Championship.
“One of my top goals is for Jax State to compete at the highest level, and I believe this is a step in the right direction,” said Fields of the schedule. “We will have the opportunity to compete against some of the best teams in the country and show what this team is made of. We are obviously looking forward to returning to some familiar courses, but very excited for these new additions to our schedule.”

The Gamecocks will take to The Walker Course on Monday for a 36-hole tournament hosted by Clemson. On September 9th, the team will be at Colbert Hills in Manhattan, Kan. for the Powercat Classic hosted by Kansas State which will be followed by a trip to State College, Pa. for the Nittany Lion Invitational at the Penn State Golf Course.

Fields will take the team to some familiar places in October with trips to the Pirate Collegiate Classic hosted by East Carolina and The Ally hosted by Mississippi State. Jax State will also participate in The Southern at Savannah Country Club and The Judson at Hattiesburg Country Club.

The 2025 portion of the schedule begins with the Gamecocks looking to defend a title from last year at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate at Hammock Creek.

“Of course we want to defend our title at the Advance Golf Partners Classic in February, which was a great tournament for our team and Jinger,” said Fields of the tournament where Jax State won team honors and Jinger Heath was the medalist by five strokes.

The second tournament in 2025 will be one the Gamecocks host at Silver Lakes Golf Course in Glencoe for the Chris Banister Golf Classic March 9-11.

“It is exciting to be hosting the Chris Banister Golf Classic again in March,” said Fields. “We will work to defend Silver Lakes this time.”

The regular season will conclude with a trip to Lake Jovita for Western Kentucky’s Spring Break Shootout March 17-18 and the Ironwood Invitational in Greenville, N.C. March 31-April 1.

The Conference USA Championship will take place April 14-16.
